SplashID won't sync with my Mac
Article There are 6 primary reasons why sync would fail in SplashID for BlackBerry:

1. You need to run the application on the handheld once, then synchronize again.

2. SplashID BlackBerry Desktop is not running. Launch the SplashID desktop so that the BlackBerry application can discover it.

3. Your BlackBerry does not have Wi-Fi or it is not enabled or you have not joined the same Wi-Fi network as your Mac.

To enable Wi-Fi, press the BlackBerry menu button from the home screen, and scroll down to the antenna icon and click. Click Wi-Fi to enable it, if available. Then scroll down and select Set Up Wi-Fi Network, then select Scan for Networks and connect to the Network your Mac is on.

If you don't have Wi-Fi on your BlackBerry, you may be able to set up global sync over your cellular data connection, but it is only recommended for advanced users:

4. You need to set the password the same on the handheld as it is on the desktop. The passwords must be identical in order to sync.

5. The incorrect BlackBerry PIN is selected in the user menu of the SplashID desktop. Make sure the PIN matches that which is displayed at the bottom of the BlackBerry Desktop Manager window when the device is connected.

6. The versions don't match between the SplashID BlackBerry Desktop and the handheld application. Check the desktop version in SplashID > About SplashID, and the handheld version in SplashID > Menu > About SplashID.
